You will work with a distributed team to maintain financial integrity and support decision-making. The ideal candidate is CPA qualified with 5+ years of accounting experience, including remote work, and proficient in Xero, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including month-end and year-end close processes, remotely.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and analyses.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.

Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional accounting designation.
• 5+ years of comprehensive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proven experience working effectively in a remote environment.
• Expertise in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Deep understanding of GAAP/IFRS and South African tax legislation.
