Employmate Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Insurance Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team, supporting clients across Australia with 360 insurance recruitment. You will own the full lifecycle—from business development and client management to sourcing, interviewing and successful placements—delivering an exceptional recruitment experience.

This remote South Africa-based role operates as an independent contractor, with a salary ranging from R17,000 to R34,000 per month plus

• > Proven 360 recruitment experience including client and candidate management.
• > Experience within the insurance industry.
• > Strong business development and relationship management capabilities.
• > Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• > Confident negotiation and influencing abilities.
• > Proven candidate sourcing, interviewing and qualification experience.
• > Commercial awareness, resilience and a results driven mindset.
• > Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• > Commitment to working Australian business hours.
• > Flexibility to accommodate candidates outside standard working hours when required.
• > Ability to understand complex information and provide informed recruitment advice.

Responsibilities

• > Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from business development through to placement and onboarding.
• > Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance industry clients and candidates.
• > Identify new business opportunities and develop existing client accounts.
• > Source and engage qualified insurance professionals through various recruitment channels.
• > Conduct candidate screening and interviews to assess experience, career goals and cultural fit.
• > Present suitable candidate shortlists with clear recommendations.
• > Coordinate interviews, manage feedback and negotiate offers.
• > Provide candidates with trusted career advice and guidance.
• > Achieve recruitment, placement and business development targets.
• > Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate information.
