Job summary

Tiger Consumer Brands Ltd. in South Africa seeks a Group Regulatory Compliance lead to own the compliance programme and translate governance strategy into annual plans and frameworks. You will manage external advisors, compliance tech, and report to senior leadership as the primary interface with regulators.

You will influence outcomes through expertise, not line authority, and drive a culture of compliance across the Group while liaising with ExCo and the Board on emerging risks and trends.

Qualifications

• LLB or postgraduate degree; preferred admission as Attorney or Advocate.
• 8–10 years in regulatory compliance, governance or company secretariat roles.
• Proven end-to-end compliance programme leadership and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the regulatory compliance universe, set annual risk plans and direct monitoring.
• Enforce group policy with clear roles, oversight and task management.
• Engage senior management and regulators; report to ExCo and Board committees.
• Develop and maintain group policies and change management framework.
• Assess legislation impact and coordinate comments for regulators.
• Collaborate with regulators and industry bodies; maintain formal relationships.
• Strengthen ethics framework with Internal Audit and Risk management.
• Create a central digital regulatory knowledge centre for access to info.
• Track licenses, renewals and licensing requirements across subsidiaries.
• Prepare and present compliance reports to ExCo and Board committees.
• Coordinate training and guidance to compliance champions across units.
