Job summary

Level Up - Your Talent Partner is seeking a Regional Tier 3 Junior Technical Support Specialist to address complex energy management challenges and deliver advanced on-site support for our energy solutions in Gauteng.

You will diagnose and resolve escalated issues, mentor Tier 1-2 teams, and collaborate across engineering and service teams to ensure high client satisfaction and system reliability, with travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Familiarity with AI-driven digital solutions for site monitoring and management is advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in a technical support role, ideally within the energy sector.
• Understanding of energy management systems, renewable energy technologies, and energy storage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced technical support for energy management, generation, and storage systems.
• Diagnose and resolve escalated technical issues from Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.
• Perform on-site client visits for technical support and system optimization when required.
• Mentor and train Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams to enhance their technical capabilities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including troubleshooting guides and best practices.

Experience Required:

• Demonstrated experience in a technical support role, ideally within the energy sector.
• In-depth understanding of energy management systems, renewable energy technologies, and energy storage solutions.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Preferred Industries:

Technical Proficiencies:
