Job summary

Old Mutual South Africa seeks a Senior Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team of Financial Advisers in the Mossel Bay region. The role focuses on profitability, process execution, and strategic leadership within the PFA framework and national/regional advisory networks.

The successful candidate will drive performance, ensure compliance, and contribute to the MANCO leadership, while shaping local marketing and recruitment initiatives for sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent.
• Must be FAIS compliant with a certificate in Financial Planning or equivalent with 120 credits (NQF 5).
• Must have passed RE 5 level 1.
• Experience as a Sales Manager preferred.
• Accredited on PFA products and other optional products.
• Preferably 24 months as a Financial Advisor.
• Strong administrative capabilities.
• Comfortable applying the sales process.
• Able to apply the six-step financial process.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of Financial Advisers, including top-tier national and regional advisers.
• Manage profitability by controlling results, resources and risks within the area business plan.
• Contribute to regional leadership as a MANCO member.
• Oversee the local sales processes and client-conservation activities.
• Coach and develop advisers to improve performance and client outcomes.
• Recruit and develop teams through local marketing and pipeline programmes.
