Truworths is seeking an Area Manager to oversee the performance, operations, and profitability of multiple retail locations across South Africa and Namibia. You will drive commercial outcomes, ensure operational excellence, and lead store teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capability, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Secondary education; a business-related qualification is advantageous.
• Proven experience managing multiple retail locations or leading multi-site operations.
• Strong working knowledge of retail operations, financial management, and performance metrics.
• Proficiency in standard business systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple store locations.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and Key Performance Indicators.
• Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and staff.
• Promote a customer-centric culture and maintain stakeholder relationships.
