Placements24 is seeking a Regional Operations Lead to drive retail operations across Gauteng East, with a primary focus on Tembisa. You will develop strategic plans, oversee day‑to‑day store performance, and coach multi-site managers to deliver profitable growth.

This hands‑on role requires strong leadership, budgeting, loss prevention, and supply‑chain awareness, ensuring adherence to standards and customer service excellence across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Retail Operations, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in retail operations management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing multi-site operations and achieving significant business results.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple retail locations within the specified region, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
• Develop and implement strategic operational plans to enhance market share, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Manage regional budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for operational savings and revenue enhancement.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of store managers and operational staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards across all operational touchpoints.
• Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, challenges, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with corporate departments to align regional operations with overall business strategy.
