Placements24 seeks an experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee Western Cape operations, drive efficiency, and lead multi-site teams across logistics and supply chain processes. The role combines on-site leadership with strategic remote planning to enhance performance and profitability.

The ideal candidate will manage budgets, monitor KPIs, implement process improvements, and collaborate with Sales and Procurement to achieve business goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' experience in operations management within logistics.
• Experience in multi-site operations and leading diverse teams.
• Strong ability to analyze data, track KPIs and drive improvements.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment and coordinating across departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day regional operations within the Western Cape for logistics and supply chain processes.
• Develop and implement strategies to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
• Lead and develop site managers and operational staff to foster high performance.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and drive corrective actions when needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, policies, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and other departments to align operations with business goals.
• Manage regional budgets, control expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and adopt best practices across sites.
• Support new technologies and systems to enhance operations.
