Job summary

Top Vitae is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to oversee regional performance, develop teams and maintain high standards of service. You will drive budgets, sales plans, client retention, and governance across multiple sites in the Eastern Cape region.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in managerial roles within a service-focused industry, strong people leadership, and proven experience in budgeting and forecasting. Willingness to travel and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Business-related degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of 10 years managerial experience in a service industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Proven track record in both operational and sales management.
• Proven track record in good people management, team building and leading skills.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills.
• Talent development, coaching, and succession planning.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle essential.
• Must be prepared to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations and drive performance in line with business plans.
• Manage operations across multiple sites and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement regional sales plans and budgets.
• Prepare reports for senior management and monitor KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with governance, policies and safety standards.
• Lead staff development, coaching, and succession planning.
• Maintain client relationships and service excellence.
• Monitor expenditure and drive debt control and reporting.
