Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic Regional Manager to oversee operations across multiple sites in the Richards Bay region and surrounding areas. You will set regional strategies, drive performance, and ensure consistency and excellence across all locations. Some travel is required, with a degree of remote work flexibility offered.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, extensive experience in multi-site operations, and solid financial acumen to manage budgets and P&Ls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required.
• MBA is a plus and strongly considered for senior leadership.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive management experience, with 3+ years regional.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional business plans to achieve targets.

About the Role

This role involves setting regional strategies, driving performance, and ensuring operational consistency and excellence across all managed locations. While the role requires travel to various sites, a degree of remote work flexibility is offered. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of business operations within a multi-site environment, contributing to the company's growth and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional business plans to achieve company objectives and growth targets.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of site managers and operational staff within the region.
• Monitor regional financial performance, including P&L, budgeting, and cost control.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards across all sites.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement best practices.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and local authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in management, with at least 3 years in a Regional Management capacity.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire diverse teams across multiple locations.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&Ls.
• Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
