Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in operations management with senior leadership in logistics.
• Proven track record managing regional or multi-site operations.
• In-depth knowledge of TMS and WMS.
• Exceptional strategic planning, leadership and financial management.
• Strong understanding of logistics regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to lead high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.

About the Role

Our client, a prominent international logistics firm, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Regional Operations Director to lead and manage operations across the Eastern Cape province, based in East London, Eastern Cape, ZA . This is a critical leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring efficiency, and achieving ambitious growth targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of regional operations, including warehousing, transportation, and customer relations, ensuring seamless service delivery and maximizing profitability. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the logistics industry and a proven ability to manage large, complex operations and diverse teams. Key Responsibilities

• In-depth knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).

• Strong understanding of international and domestic logistics regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to develop and lead high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to drive business decisions.
