Placements24 seeks an experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee multiple warehouse and distribution facilities in the Polokwane, Limpopo region. You will drive operational efficiency, manage regional P&L, and lead warehouse managers and staff to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive logistics and warehouse operations management experience.
• Experience managing multiple sites or large-scale distribution centers.
• Strong inventory, order picking/packing/shipping understanding.
• Proven P&L management and cost-reduction track record.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and logistics software.
• Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee logistics and warehousing operations across the Polokwane region.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and service levels.
• Manage P&L for the region and ensure profitability.
• Lead and develop a team of warehouse managers and staff.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and timely dispatch of goods.
• Enforce health and safety protocols across facilities.
• Maintain relationships with key clients and meet logistics needs.
• Drive continuous improvement including automation and process optimization.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
