Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years managerial experience in a service industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage branch performance in line with business plans.
  • Oversee daily operations and performance across multiple sites.
  • Plan and evaluate operations to be cost-effective.
  • Ensure corporate governance compliance.
  • Manage and monitor risk management compliance.
  • Manage and implement client SLAs and insurance cover prior to assignee placement.
  • Maintain branch data files per company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure maintenance of company vehicles per policies.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports and feedback to management.
  • Develop, implement and monitor SOPs and KPIs.
  • Ensure Health and Safety compliance.
  • Conduct regular site and client visits to assess operations and service levels.

Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Develop and implement an annual budget, business plan which includes a sales plan and strategy in line with the company’s objectives and goals and to execute new business development strategies and client retention relationships to meet and exceed targets.
  • Maintain sound relationships with internal and external clients, third party service providers and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans and strategies.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Prepare and present regional reports for senior management.
  • Implement, monitor and manage sales targets and GP margins to achieve budgets.
  • Execute new business development strategies and client retention relationships to meet and exceed targets.
  • Manage and monitor all departmental/branch expenditure.
  • Ensure staff are empowered and motivated to deliver service excellence.
Responsibilities / Duties:
Operational requirements
  • Manage branch performance in line with business plans.
  • Oversee daily operations and performance across multiple sites.

  • Manage and implement client SLA’s and ensure appropriate insurance cover is in place prior to placement of assignees.
  • Manage and maintain branch data files as per company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure maintenance of company vehicles in accordance to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of reports, maintain records, and provide feedback to management.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and practices.
  • Ensure standard operating procedures as well as KPI measures are developed, implemented and monitored.
  • Ensure Health and Safety compliance.
  • Conduct regular site and client visits to assess operations, compliance, and customer service.
Sales and Marketing
  • Develop, manage and nurture new business partnerships and accounts to accomplish volume and exceed targets.
  • Target new sales opportunities, initiate and monitor action plans to secure new business.
  • Establish relationships with key decision makers at existing clients to enhance client / contractor retention.
  • Manage the performance and activities of the business unit.
  • Set, monitor, and report on KPIs, sales targets, and budgets.
Financial Reporting
  • Ensure financial reports are submitted to timeously, as and when required.
  • Ensure submission of monthly sales flash reports by the first working day of every month.
  • Ensure the debtors aging is kept current and escape where necessary.
People Management
  • Ensure all staff adhere to standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
  • Manage the performance of branch employees according to policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all staff are adequately trained in terms of their duties and legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance to labour legislation in terms of applicable laws.
  • Monitor training plans for staff and monitor growth and development of staff.
  • Plan and adjust staff workloads and allocate daily tasks to team members.
  • Provide advice, coordination and support to team members.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate staff.
  • Management of staff reporting plans and reports.
  • Manage and maintain staff and assignee files.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
  • Grade 12 or the equivalent qualification.
  • A business-related degree is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 10 years managerial experience in a service industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proven track record in both operational and sales management.
  • Proven track record in good people management, team building and leading skills.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills.
  • Talent development, coaching, and succession planning.
