Job summary

SRG Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR leader to drive strategic and operational HR across the full employee lifecycle in South Africa, Namibia and Mozambique.

The role covers workforce planning, talent, reward, payroll, performance, learning and HR operations, with emphasis on statutory compliance and change capability. Portuguese is advantageous and correspondence will be with shortlisted candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations or a related discipline is required.

Job description

The role provides strategic and operational HR leadership across the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, talent, reward, employee relations, payroll, performance, learning and HR operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations or a related discipline
• Extensive experience in a comparable HR management or senior HR generalist role across South Africa, Namibia and Mozambique
• Strong knowledge of South African, Mozambique and Namibia labour legislation, employee relations procedures and statutory HR compliance requirements
• Experience managing complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary hearings, grievances and CCMA-related processes
• Experience overseeing payroll governance, reward administration and employee benefits, supporting geographically dispersed or multi-site operations
• Employment Equity management and statutory reporting as well as leading organizational change, transformation, culture or organizational design initiatives is desirable
• Proficiency in Portuguese would be advantageous
