Job summary

Bidvest Protea Coin is seeking a Branch Manager or equivalent with two years of leadership experience in security or related roles in South Africa. The role focuses on maintaining client relationships, enforcing compliant processes, and driving growth while managing HR and administration.

A PSIRA Grade A certification and Grade 12 are preferred, with strong MS Office skills. You will oversee operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate risk controls while delivering high-quality

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent required.
• Security related or similar relevant qualifications preferred.
• PSIRA certification – Grade A is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing key client relationships and maintaining current relationships.
• Ensure processes and systems are in place to maintain and improve customer service delivery.
• Finance planning and management for areas of responsibility.
• Monitor, identify and implement strategies to minimise risk to the company.
• Ensure company compliance with relevant legislation and requirements.
• Identify and mitigate client security risks to regulatory standards.
• Drive growth plans within area of responsibility.
• Conduct commercial negotiations when required.
• Human Resource Management including manpower planning, coaching, mentoring and motivation, succession planning and labour relations.
• Administration reporting and logistics.
• Identify opportunities to integrate other Bidvest products and services.

Job description

• Developing key client relationship and maintaining current relationships;
• Ensure processes and systems are in place to maintain and improve customer service delivery;
• Finance planning and management for areas of responsibility;
• Monitor, identify and put in place strategies and action to minimise risk to the company within the area of responsibility;
• Ensure that the company complies with relevant legislation and other similar requirements;
• Ensure that the clients security risks are regulatory identified and implement measures to control and mitigate such risks;
• Monitor and put in place plans to drive growth in area of responsibility;
• Conduct commercial negotiations where required;
• Human Resource Management including but not limited to manpower planning with a particular focus on contractual requirements, coaching, mentoring and motivation, succession planning, employment equity, compliance with labour laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures and labour relations;
• Administration reporting and logistics;
• Identify and drive opportunities to integrate other BPC and Bidvest products and service offering;
• Achieve target from time to time identified measures;

Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:

• PSIRA certification – Grade A;
• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification or relevant qualifications;
• Security related or similar relevant qualifications;
• Branch Manager or equivalent exposure for at least two years or similar roles;
• Good interpersonal skills and strong administration skills;
• A good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and outlook);
• Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt to regular change;
• Good understanding of BCEA, OHS Act, LRA and National Bargaining Council;
• Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record;
• Driver’s licence and own reliable transport;
• A vision and understanding of integrated security solutions into the future- Guarding/Technical
