Job summary

Bidvest Bank is seeking a technically adept fleet specialist to lead regional vehicle maintenance and supplier relations. You will ensure contractual compliance, inspect new vehicles, and manage maintenance contracts and COF reporting. You’ll coordinate with MMU, suppliers, and customers to meet service levels.

The role requires 3–5 years in fleet with strong communication and problem-solving, plus a Diploma or higher in Fleet Management or related fields. On-site work in the Eastern Cape region.

Qualifications

• Matric required; diploma preferred in fleet/Road Transport management.
• Tertiary Fleet/Mechanical qualification advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical fleet service in line with contract obligations.
• Inspect new vehicles for specification adherence prior to delivery.
• Manage maintenance contracts and service due/COF reporting.
• Coordinate unscheduled maintenance and accident repairs with suppliers.
• Ensure timely response to client and supplier queries and maintain records.
