This role involves driving debt recovery strategies, overseeing leasing operations, and acting as the regional expert on university funding. The ideal candidate should have 5–8 years of experience in debtors/credit management, specifically within property or student accommodation sectors. Strong negotiation skills and proficiency in property management software are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Debtors/Credit Management in Property or Student Accommodation sectors.
• Proven leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of NSFAS/Bursary funding models.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional debt recovery strategies and oversee credit control.
• Ensure buildings are fully let at approved rental levels.
• Act as regional expert on university funding and bursary cycles.
• Oversee university accreditation process for regional buildings.
• Provide direction and supervision to regional teams.
• Monitor market trends to provide management insights on cash flow.
