Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with PDP.
• Experience in refrigerated transport is preferred.
• Knowledge of temperature-controlled logistics and perishable goods handling.
• Familiarity with Mossel Bay area and Western Cape.
• Ability to operate refrigeration units.
• Strong focus on safety and compliance.
• Reliable, punctual with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate refrigerated trucks to deliver temperature-sensitive goods to designated locations.
• Maintain precise temperature controls for cargo during transit.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections of vehicle and refrigeration unit.
• Load and unload goods following food safety and handling protocols.
• Plan efficient delivery routes within Mossel Bay region and nearby areas.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, temperature records, and maintenance reports.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers during delivery.
• Adhere to traffic laws, company policies, and perishables-related regulations.
• Keep vehicle and refrigeration equipment clean and in good condition.
• Manage delivery schedules to meet customer requirements and minimize transit times.
