Job summary

Europcar Kathu Branch is seeking a reliable Driver to join our team. The driver will ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and checked for quality, while delivering vehicles to customers and assisting with check-ins. Strong map-reading skills and English communication are essential.

Applicants must hold a valid Code 8 driver’s license (unendorsed, minimum 2 years) and be comfortable working weekends/shifts as needed. This role requires basic computer literacy and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (at least 2 years old).
• Computer literate (basic level will suffice).
• Must be fully bilingual and able to communicate with customers effectively in English.
• Able to read a map.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of vehicle interior and exterior to high standards.
• Vehicle quality control and reporting of any issue not conforming to standards.
• Refueling vehicles, checking tyre pressure and fluids after every rental.
• Delivering vehicles to customers following procedures.
• Handling vehicle check-ins according to procedures.
• Maintaining yard cleanliness and safeguarding company assets.
• Other duties as required by the branch.

Europcar in Kathu Branch is seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and excellent knowledge of driving rules and regulations in South Africa.

Job Outputs

• Cleaning of vehicle interior and exterior to our high standards.
• Vehicle quality control, including identification and reporting of expired license vehicles and any other issue that does not conform to our quality standards.
• Refueling vehicles, checking tyre pressure and oil/water/other fluids after every rental.
• Delivering vehicles to customers in accordance with our procedures.
• Handling vehicle check-ins in accordance with company, quality control and claims procedures.
• Maintaining cleanliness of yard and other surrounding areas.
• Maintaining the integrity of the company by behaving ethically and safeguarding the assets and interests of both the business and our customers.
• Other duties on request.

Minimum Experience

• 2 years relevant driving experience

Minimum Qualification

• Matric or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification.
