Job summary

Novus Holdings Limited in Cape Town seeks a Driver in the Despatch Department for a fixed term contract. Introduction

Novus Print: Paarden Eiland is currently looking to appoint an energetic and motivated person to accept responsibility as a Driver in the Despatch Department on a fixed term contract. The successful incumbent will report to the Operations Manager.

• Daily deliveries to and from clients and suppliers (includes loading and offloading of goods).
• Accurate record keeping of all deliveries
• Keeping the company vehicle clean and tidy
• Perform daily maintenance checks
• Plan routes on a cost and time effective manner
• Knowledge and adherence of all legal requirements and regulations stated in the National Road Traffic Act
• Notify the Manager of any major repairs or maintenance

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Valid unendorsed Code 10 with PDP driver’s license
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Code 10 driver
• Basic administrative functions
• Valid Forklift license
• Experience in delivering goods to and from clients and suppliers
