We are seeking a Recruiting Manager in our South Africa office to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Talent Managers and Business Leaders to understand organizational goals and talent needs, supporting initiatives through quality hiring for assigned areas.
- Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment life cycle for hires into South Africa and globally across all locations.
- Proactively maintain high‑quality, responsive relationships with internal clients and candidates.
- Expand recruiting expertise by staying abreast of trends, best practices, social media, legal developments, technology, and benchmark comparisons.
- Assist in counseling hiring managers on recruitment policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal policies and local requirements.
- Ensure a solid process for providing a qualified talent pipeline and a smooth interview and hiring process that prioritizes candidate experience.
- Prepare recruitment reports and metrics in keeping with established processes.
- Ensure data integrity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Contribute to departmental and company process improvements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience as a full‑life‑cycle recruiter in fast‑paced management consulting, advisory, agency, or corporate recruiting environments.
- General knowledge of employment law.
- Strong sourcing and networking skills to generate and expand candidate pipelines aligned with current and projected business objectives.
- Experience with an ATS, including maintaining data integrity.
- Ability to coordinate with HRBPs to maintain internal equity in the offer approval process.
- Effective organization, planning, process, time‑management, and multitasking skills to meet hiring needs.
- Ability to manage candidate expectations, provide timely feedback, and ensure positive recruiting experiences.
- Negotiating skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including poise, tact, and diplomacy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including documentation and influence.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, social media, recruitment tools, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and other productivity tools.
- Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Ability to respond flexibly to changing situations and prioritize work as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in South Africa without requiring visa sponsorship by North Highland; sponsorship will not be provided.
