Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Sports Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in facility management, preferably sports/leisure.
• Proven leadership and staff management experience.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, financial management and marketing.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations for recreational facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the recreational facility, including sports courts, gyms, and common areas.
• Manage and supervise a team of facility staff, including receptionists, maintenance personnel, and program instructors.
• Develop, implement, and promote recreational programs and activities to attract and retain members.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Manage facility budgets, including revenue generation, expense control, and capital expenditure planning.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring high levels of member satisfaction.
• Oversee facility maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure a safe and functional environment.
