Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Technical Artist with expertise in real-time rendering to join our studio. You will bridge art and technology, optimizing assets and pipelines for performance and fidelity in real-time environments.

You will collaborate with artists and engineers to develop workflows, troubleshoot challenges, and implement cutting-edge rendering techniques in a studio setting that values direct collaboration and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics, Game Design, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Technical Artist in the gaming or real-time visualization industry.
• Strong proficiency with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.

Responsibilities

• Optimize 3D art assets (models, textures, shaders) for real-time performance and visual quality in game engines.
• Develop and maintain shaders, materials, and rendering pipelines to achieve specific artistic goals.
• Create and implement technical tools and scripts to streamline the art production workflow.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement new rendering features and resolve technical art issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the art team on best practices for real-time development.
