About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Real Estate Property Developer to oversee projects from conception through to completion in Queenstown . This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of land acquisition, planning, construction management, and project finance within the property development sector. You will be responsible for identifying lucrative development opportunities, managing budgets, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality real estate projects in the Eastern Cape region. This is a demanding yet rewarding position for a proactive developer looking to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential real estate development sites and opportunities in and around Queenstown.
• Manage the entire development lifecycle, including feasibility studies, land acquisition, zoning, and permitting.
• Oversee the design, construction, and project management phases, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop and manage project budgets, secure financing, and monitor financial performance throughout the development process.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants to ensure project success.
• Market and sell developed properties, liaising with sales teams and buyers to achieve commercial objectives for the Queenstown developments.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in real estate development and project management, preferably with a portfolio of completed projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, zoning regulations, and land use planning.
• Proven ability to manage complex budgets, secure funding, and analyze project feasibility.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• A relevant degree in Property Development, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Eastern Cape property market is a significant advantage.
