Placements24 is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal for our client, a reputable law firm in Mahikeng, North West. The role supports real estate attorneys with document preparation, conveyancing, title searches, closings, and due diligence, in a fast-paced environment.

You should have a Paralegal qualification and at least 3 years of Real Estate experience, with strong organizational and communication skills. This is an on-site opportunity offering professional development and benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Paralegal Studies or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years as a Paralegal with a Real Estate focus.
• Knowledge of real estate transactions and conveyancing procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal research databases.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing, reviewing, and filing real estate documents such as deeds, contracts, leases, and closing statements.
• Manage real estate transactions, coordinate closings, title searches, and escrow processes.
• Conduct legal research using online databases to support case preparation.
• Communicate with clients, real estate agents, lenders, title companies, and court personnel.
• Organize and maintain case files ensuring accuracy and proper storage.
• Schedule meetings, depositions, and hearings as required.
• Proofread legal documents for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Assist with due diligence investigations for property acquisitions and sales.
