Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join their busy Rustenburg legal practice. The role supports attorneys with case management, legal research, and client communication, contributing to efficient service delivery for a diverse clientele.

The successful candidate will demonstrate keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective written and verbal communication. A National Diploma in Paralegal Studies or equivalent, plus 2 years’ experience, are required.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Paralegal Studies or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as paralegal or legal assistant.
• Proficiency in legal research databases and case management software.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents, pleadings, and court filings.
• Organize and maintain case files with complete documentation.
• Conduct preliminary legal research and gather evidence for cases.
• Schedule client appointments, depositions, and court appearances.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage discovery processes, including document review and production.
