Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Real Estate Paralegal to support their property transactions team. This fully remote role involves drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts, performing legal research, and coordinating with clients and counsel to ensure compliant closings.

The ideal candidate has a paralegal certificate or degree and at least 3 years of real estate legal support experience, with proficiency in relevant software and knowledge of closing procedures.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate paralegal or similar role.
• Proficiency in legal research databases and real estate transaction software.
• Strong understanding of real estate law, title work, and closing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing real estate contracts, leases, and closing documents.
• Conduct legal research on property titles, zoning regulations, and other real estate-related legal matters.
• Manage and organize legal files, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and properly stored.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, title companies, and other parties to facilitate closings and resolve inquiries.
• Maintain a calendar of deadlines and key dates for active real estate transactions.
