Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a practical and experienced Construction Foreman to lead on-site operations in the Randburg area. This hands‑on role requires strong leadership to guide a crew, ensure work meets specifications, and maintain a safe, productive environment.

You will manage day‑to‑day site activity, coordinate tasks, monitor progress, and report to the Project Manager while ensuring timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of construction trades and techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of the construction crew on site.
• Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate tasks among crew members and assign responsibilities.
• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor work progress and quality, reporting any issues or deviations to the Project Manager.
• Manage materials and equipment on site, ensuring availability and proper use.
