Placements24 is seeking an expert Radio Access Network (RAN) Specialist to join our Durban team. You will plan, design, optimize, and maintain mobile RAN infrastructure, ensuring superior network performance and user experience.

The role requires deep RAN knowledge including 4G/LTE and 5G NR, with ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a hybrid work setting. You will design RAN solutions, optimize performance, and stay ahead of new RAN tech while producing documentation and providing hands-on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in RAN planning, deployment and optimization.
• Deep knowledge of 4G/LTE and 5G NR technologies (MIMO, beamforming, spectrum management).
• Experience with major RAN vendors (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Requirements
