Placements24 in South Africa is seeking an analytical Radio Network Planner to join their strategic planning team. The role is fully remote with occasional travel to Richards Bay to support deployments and reviews.

You will design long-term capacity and coverage plans for 4G/5G, perform dimensioning and optimization, and analyze network data to propose technical solutions. A Master's in EE/Telecoms and 5+ years in RAN are required.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop long-term radio network plans, including capacity and coverage strategies for 4G and 5G networks.
• Perform network dimensioning and optimization studies using specialized planning software.
• Analyze network performance data to identify areas for improvement and recommend technical solutions.
• Collaborate with deployment and operations teams to ensure seamless rollout of new sites and technologies.
• Evaluate new radio technologies and vendor proposals to support strategic network evolution.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on network performance and future planning initiatives.

Requirements
