Job summary

Pollock & Associates in Cape Town is seeking a Test Engineer for its R&D Integration team. You will design and run performance, durability and compatibility tests on live application equipment and turn results into recommendations that R&D and production act on.

The ideal candidate has a BEng or BSc in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, 1–2 years in testing or engineering, and exposure to industrial applications. You will document results for repeatability and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or similar.
• 1–2 years in testing or engineering (advantageous).
• Exposure to industrial application technologies and materials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designing and running performance, durability and compatibility tests.
• Operating and maintaining application and test equipment.
