Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Test and Validation Mechanical Engineer to join their product development team in Nelspruit. You will design, develop, and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and performance of mechanical products.

You'll work with design engineers, build test fixtures, analyze results, and contribute to quality improvements in Mpumalanga region. This role offers growth in testing methodologies and access to advanced facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in mechanical test engineering, validation, or product development.
• Proficiency with testing equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and procedures for mechanical components and systems.
• Design, build, and maintain test fixtures, equipment, and data acquisition systems.
• Conduct various mechanical tests, including durability, fatigue, vibration, thermal, and performance testing.
• Analyze test data, identify failure modes, and generate detailed test reports with recommendations.
• Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot issues and validate design improvements.
• Ensure test activities comply with industry standards and company quality procedures.
