Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer with a strong emphasis on Quality Systems in Kimberley, Northern Cape. The role focuses on developing and maintaining robust quality management processes, reducing defects, and driving continuous improvement.

The position blends strategic planning with on-site collaboration in a hybrid setup. The successful candidate will lead QA initiatives, govern audits, and partner with R&D, engineering, and production to integrate quality into product

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
• 6+ years in industrial engineering with focus on quality management and continuous improvement.
• Proven experience implementing ISO 9001 or similar quality certifications.
• Strong statistical analysis, SPC, RCA and CAPA capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with quality management software and data analysis tools.
• Experience conducting audits and leading quality improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality management systems aligned with ISO 9001.
• Lead and facilitate root cause analysis for quality issues and implement CAPA.
• Design and implement SPC methodologies to monitor process capability.
• Conduct internal audits and process reviews to ensure compliance and identify improvements.
• Develop and deliver training on quality standards, tools, and methodologies.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and drivers of defects for strategic improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering and production to embed quality in design.
• Manage customer feedback and complaints related to product quality and resolve them.
• Champion a culture of quality excellence across the organization.
