Job summary

Placements24 in Polokwane is seeking a meticulous Quality Operations Manager to oversee quality assurance and control, drive continuous improvement, and ensure ISO 9001 compliance within a hybrid work setup.

You will lead a QA team, develop and monitor a QMS, perform audits, analyze data for root causes, and collaborate across departments to implement CAPA while staying current with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control management.
• Proven experience implementing and managing a QMS (ISO 9001).
• Strong knowledge of statistical process control and quality improvement methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Experience with hybrid work structures and digital quality management tools is beneficial for this Polokwane role.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's quality management system (QMS).
• Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, setting performance objectives and providing guidance.
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Stay updated on industry quality standards and regulatory requirements.
