AVI Limited’s Snackworks Isando Biscuits Factory in Kempton Park, Gauteng, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to safeguard quality and safety in food production. You'll conduct analyses on raw materials, in-process and finished products, and verify COAs to specification.

With a Diploma in Food Technology and at least two years in FMCG, you’ll calibrate lab equipment, support GMP audits, and train QA technicians while upholding ISO 17025, HACCP and GLP standards.

Qualificações

• Diploma in Food Technology or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in FMCG, preferably in baking and packaging.
• Knowledge of ISO 17025, HACCP, GMP, and GLP.
• Experience using SAP and working with AIB (Food Safety) Standards.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct physical and chemical analysis on raw materials, packaging, in-process, and finished products.
• Verify COAs and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to meet ISO 17025.
• Manage NCRs and ensure effective resolution.
• Perform GMP audits and support FSSC 22000.
• Train QA Technicians on laboratory procedures and hygiene inspections.
• Participate in process control and troubleshoot quality issues with multidisciplinary teams.
