Job summary

Sasol Limited in Secunda seeks a Quality Control Manager to oversee QA/QC activities in the mining-related operations. You will ensure ISO 9001 compliance, manage documentation, and lead continuous quality improvements across field operations.

The role demands extensive QA/QC experience, leadership capabilities, and a hands-on approach to solving quality issues while aligning with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant QA/QC experience.
• At least 3+ years as a Foreman or Quality Inspector.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and improve QA/QC programmes for field staff.
• Maintain and lead the Ex. certification scheme for mining workshops.
• Oversight of quality management systems and continuous improvement of finished goods.
• Create quality inspection reports in the field and coordinate with product owners.
• Audit suppliers and ensure compliance with MHSA and regulatory standards.
• Review and approve design specs and technical drawings within area of responsibility.
