Job summary

Quality Assurance Manager required to lead the QA function from our Johannesburg head office. The role requires strategic oversight across multiple projects with focus on governance, compliance and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates bring 8–15 years in QA/QC within engineering or industrial infrastructure, with ISO 9001 expertise and strong leadership capabilities to drive project quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, Construction Management or a related technical discipline.
• Formal ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems training or certification.
• Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification would be advantageous.
• Additional quality management or engineering certifications would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure ISO 9001 alignment and compliance across projects.
• Establish standardised quality policies, procedures and reporting.
• Provide strategic quality guidance to senior management and delivery teams.
• Lead audits, NCRs, corrective actions and risk management.
