Qualifications

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Analyst to join their pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Centurion . You will be responsible for performing a range of laboratory tests to ensure that raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products meet stringent quality standards and specifications. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity and safety of pharmaceutical products before they reach consumers. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to quality assurance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a regulated laboratory environment, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical and physical analyses of raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products using various laboratory techniques.
• Perform stability testing and environmental monitoring according to established protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Accurately document all test results, deviations, and observations in laboratory notebooks and data systems.
• Review and interpret analytical data, identify any out-of-specification results, and initiate investigations.
• Assist in the qualification and validation of new analytical methods and equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related science.
• 2+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical quality control laboratory setting.
• Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, Karl Fischer titration, and dissolution testing.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant quality control procedures.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical quality systems and regulatory expectations.
• Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping and organization abilities.
