Job summary

NDC Personnel seeks an experienced QA leader to manage and improve quality and food safety systems in our South Africa operations. You will lead laboratory and quality control teams, maintain technical documentation, and drive audits with a focus on PRP/GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards.

The role requires a BSc in Food Science and at least five years of related experience, with strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to investigate non-conformances.

Job description

In this role, you will manage and improve quality and food safety systems by leading laboratory and quality control teams, maintaining technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with standards. You will be responsible for audits and technical support. Experience with PRP/GMP, HACCP, BRC, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, metal detectors, X-ray equipment and magnets will be essential to your success.

To be considered, candidates should hold a BSc in Food Science, together with relevant training in and auditing principles. This role also requires a minimum of 5 years’ related experience. Strong leadership and communication skills, together with the ability to investigate non-conformances, will be advantageous.
