Job summary

Bridgena Barnard & Associates in Cape Town seeks an experienced Quality, Compliance & Systems professional to own the integrated management system for a client-focused manufacturing environment. You will drive compliance verification, own CAPA processes, lead internal audits, and ensure GMP, HACCP and OH&S standards are consistently met across operations.

The role requires at least 7 years in QA and compliance, including supervisory experience, with proven ownership of certified management

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in quality assurance, compliance and quality systems in manufacturing.
• At least 3 years in a systems-owner or supervisory role.
• Proven ownership of a certified management system (ISO 9001, BRCGS Packaging).
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP/HARA, OH&S.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality, compliance and OH&S systems for the client.
• Drive verification of compliance and CAPA management.
• Lead internal audits (system, process, contractor) and maintain records, SOPs.
• Monitor calibration and measurement control.

Are you a quality and compliance professional ready to take ownership of an organisations integrated management system?

Were looking for an experienced Quality, Compliance & Systems professional to lead our clients quality, product safety and OH&S systems, drive compliance verification, and ensure our operations consistently meet the highest standards.

What youll bring:

• Relevant degree in Quality Management, Food Science/Food Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7 years experience in quality assurance, compliance and quality systems within manufacturing/production.
• At least 3 years in a systems-owner or supervisory role.
• Proven ownership of a certified management system, such as BRCGS Packaging and/or ISO 9001.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP/HARA, Quality FMEA and OH&S HIRA.
• Experience managing internal audit programmes, including system, process and contractor audits.
• Hands-on ownership of CAPA, change management, calibration and measurement control.
• Strong analytical, investigation, documentation and reporting skills, with meticulous attention to records, SOPs and defined processes.
