Job summary

Pronel Personnel is partnering with a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturer in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal, to recruit a QARM Analyst. The role focuses on viral marker testing, serology, and sample management to support safe plasma release for manufacturing.

The successful candidate will perform ELISA, APT, data entry into LIMS, plasma approvals, equipment maintenance, and ensure GLP/GMP compliance, with one year of lab experience and GMP/GLP knowledge required.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary science degree or national diploma.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on laboratory experience.
• Sound knowledge of GMP and GLP.
• Computer literacy with MS Office; experience with LIMS, SAP or automated liquid handlers is advantageous.
• Medical fitness assessments are required due to the biopharmaceutical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform viral marker testing, serology, and sample management according to validated procedures.
• Conduct ELISA assays and QC of test kits, standards, and controls.
• Operate automated systems for sample dispensing and APT; arrange external testing as needed.
• Enter test data into the LIMS for independent review and approve compliant plasma batches.
• Maintain lab equipment, storage temps, and uphold GLP/GMP standards; ensure SHE compliance.
