Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related life science field.
• 2+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical quality control or analytical laboratory.
• Proficiency with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, and titration.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using laboratory techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze test results, document findings accurately in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and report any deviations or out-of-specification results.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring it operates within specified parameters and meets regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the development, validation, and implementation of new analytical methods and procedures.
• Conduct stability studies to assess the shelf-life and degradation profiles of pharmaceutical products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related life science field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in a pharmaceutical quality control or analytical laboratory setting.

• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical quality systems , GMP, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., SAHPRA).
