Placements24 in George, Western Cape is seeking a diligent Quality Assurance Technician for our client in the food and beverage manufacturing industry. The role involves testing, inspections, and analyses to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.

The successful candidate will have QA experience, familiarity with HACCP/FSSC 22000, and the ability to work on-site in George with a hybrid model. This is a hands-on role offering development and opportunity to uphold product excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC, preferably in food/beverage industry.
• Familiarity with HACCP, FSSC 22000 and GMP.
• Proficiency in laboratory tests and instruments.
• Strong data recording and reporting accuracy.
• Relevant qualification in Food Technology or Microbiology.
• Able to work on-site in George, Western Cape with hybrid schedule.

Responsabilités

• Perform in-process and finished product testing.
• Inspect production lines and equipment for hygiene and safety.
• Analyze samples using laboratory equipment.
• Document QC activities and non-conformances.
• Investigate quality deviations and customer complaints.
• Monitor environmental conditions in production/storage.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Stay updated on food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with production and sanitation teams.
• Support internal audits and regulatory inspections.
