Job summary

Absa Group is seeking a Specialist QA Engineer to design and implement automation testing across multiple products. You will develop automation scripts and participate actively in the full solution development lifecycle within cross-functional squads.

You will contribute to test planning, documentation, and the selection of testing frameworks, ensuring quality metrics and on-time delivery of automation deliverables in a hybrid model based in Johannesburg.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT is required.
• Experience designing and implementing automated tests.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional Agile squad.

Responsibilities

• Design automation testing plans for front-end, back-end and integration tests.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and harnesses.
• Participate in daily Scrum and project planning ceremonies.
• Evaluate and report on automation test results and coverage.
• Deliver testing artefacts on time and ensure quality gates are met.
