Job summary

iqbusiness in Cape Town is seeking a QA Specialist on a 12-month contract to join our hybrid team (3 days on-site; 2 days work-from-home). You will design and implement web and mobile test strategies to ensure product quality.

You will develop test plans, write and execute test cases, report defects, and, where possible, create automated tests using Playwright. You will also perform regression, load, and usability testing while collaborating with developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years testing websites, web apps, and mobile apps.
• Experience in regression and load/stress testing.
• Playwright experience.
• Background checks including credit, criminal, ID and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement web and mobile test plans.
• Design, write, and execute test cases to verify software behavior.
• Find, report, and reproduce bugs with steps.
• Where possible, write automated tests to speed up testing.
• Perform regression testing after fixes or new features.
• Collaborate with development to understand features and issues.
• Document testing processes, results and discrepancies.
• Test performance under heavy loads and stress.
• Conduct usability and accessibility testing.
