Placements24 is seeking a proactive Public Relations Officer to lead remote PR efforts for the George, Western Cape region. You will craft compelling narratives, manage media relations, and ensure consistent brand messaging across channels.

You will operate independently in a fully remote setting, developing strategies, monitoring media coverage, coordinating press materials, and supporting crisis communications while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of PR or related communications experience.
• Proven ability to write press releases and media kits.
• Strong knowledge of the South African media landscape.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects remotely.

Responsibilities
