Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Property Law/Conveyancing.
• Proficiency in conveyancing procedures and relevant South African legislation.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in drafting and preparing legal documents for property transactions including offers to purchase, deeds of sale, and bond registrations.
• Maintain conveyancing files ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, financial institutions and the Deeds Office.
• Conduct property searches and obtain necessary documentation.
• Monitor transaction progress and ensure deadlines are met.
• Assist with post-transfer administration.
• Handle correspondence and communication related to property transactions.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with firm procedures.
