Excellerate JHI is seeking a detail-oriented Debtors Administrator to manage rental collections and tenant accounts across a property portfolio. You will protect cash flow by collecting overdue rentals, monitoring arrears, and maintaining accurate financial records, collaborating with tenants, managers, clients and finance colleagues.

Ideal candidates will have Matric with Accounting, at least two years in rental collections within property, and intermediate Excel.

Qualifications

Matric with Accounting as a subject.
At least two years’ experience in rental collections within property sector.
Knowledge of tenant-account reconciliations and arrears reporting.
Proficiency in Excel for formulas, sorting, filtering and reconciliations.
Experience with a property management or accounting system.

Responsabilités

Collect outstanding rent and tenant charges via proactive phone and email follow-up.
Monitor age analyses and maintain accurate arrears reports.
Negotiate payment arrangements within approved authority limits.
Allocate payments and process authorised journals to correct allocations.
Reconcile tenant accounts and resolve allocation queries.
Coordinate with property managers and finance team on recoveries.
