Job summary

Oostelike Personeel Konsultante in Centurion is seeking a meticulous Property Bookkeeper to manage tenant billing, debtor controls, and supplier ledgers. The role includes monthly statements, reconciliations, and audit support within a stable property network.

You will coordinate maintenance, oversee budgeted spend, and interact with councils, contractors, and internal teams. This is a full-time permanent position after a 3‑month probation period, with standard company benefits.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) plus a degree/ND/cert in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in property administration or bookkeeping.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and willingness to learn specialized property software.
• Valid South African driver's license.
• Strong numerical, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tenant age analysis, rental/debt collections, monthly statements, adjustments and reconciliations.
• Administer utility recoveries and municipal account imports; reconcile with GL and manage prepaid payments.
• Execute full creditors functions, daily cashbook reconciliations, bond accounts, and director card slips.
• Assist Financial Accountant with annual external audit preparations and queries.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules, obtain quotes, track materials and budgets.
• Handle tenant queries professionally; liaise with city councils, contractors, and internal teams.
