Job summary

Recruitify_Hr is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Gauteng for a large-format printing and custom manufacturing environment. You will own projects from quotation through design, production, installation and final sign-off, acting as the primary client contact throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or coordinate accurate quotations and proposals.
• Follow up on quotations and manage the acceptance process.
• Maintain project, quotation and delivery information in CRM and ERP systems.
• Coordinate artwork, proofs, revisions and client approvals.
• Ensure written client sign-off before production begins.
• Move completed projects to production with full documentation.
• Monitor progress and flag delays or quality concerns.
• Coordinate site readiness and installer requirements.
• Obtain client sign-off after installation.
• Manage snags and rework requirements.
• Keep clients informed of progress and changes.

A business operating within the large-format printing and custom manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage client projects from the initial quotation request through design, production, installation and final sign-off. The Project Manager will be the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle and will coordinate information between clients, designers, production teams, installers and finance. This is not a sales role. The position requires strong project ownership, client communication and the ability to manage multiple custom projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, clarify and manage client quotation requests
• Confirm project scope, dimensions, quantities, materials, location, timelines and budget
• Prepare or coordinate accurate quotations and proposals
• Follow up on outstanding quotations and manage the acceptance process
• Maintain accurate project, quotation and delivery information on CRM and ERP systems
• Brief internal and external designers on project requirements
• Coordinate artwork, proofs, revisions and client approvals
• Ensure written client sign-off is received before production begins
• Hand accepted projects over to production with complete documentation
• Monitor production progress and identify possible delays or quality concerns
• Confirm stock, materials and substrates are available or ordered
• Coordinate site readiness, access, installation dates and installer requirements
• Conduct or coordinate site visits for complex installations
• Obtain client sign-off after installation
• Manage snags, defects and rework requirements
• Keep clients informed of progress, changes and potential delays
• Complete project documentation and hand completed jobs over for invoicing
